Boyfriend's heartbreaking tribute after Aussie model's freak death

Former Miss Universe Australia contestant Sienna Weir died following a tragic horse-riding accident last month.

The boyfriend of a former Miss Universe Australia contestant has shared a heartbreaking tribute after she died following a horse riding accident.

Sienna Weir, 23, died on Thursday a month after the freak accident at Windsor Polo Grounds where her horse fell, leaving her with critical injuries.

Ms Weir was a finalist in last year’s Miss Universe Australia beauty pageant, where the 180cm Sydney model made the top 15.

Her boyfriend Tom Bull shared a collection of moving photos of the pair alongside a poem by her favourite poet Edgar Allan Poe.

“I love you my sunflower girl,” he wrote, followed by the poem ‘Annabel Lee’, a story about young love torn apart by tragedy.

Photos show the couple smiling together and embracing, as he kisses her on the cheek in one snap.
