Brad Goreski Posts Throwback Photos with Husband Gary Janetti on 23rd Anniversary: ‘Half My Life’

Brad Goreski and his husband Gary Janetti are celebrating their love!

On Tuesday, July 2, Janetti, 58, shared a sweet Instagram carousel of the couple when they first got together more than two decades ago. The caption of the social media post, which was highlighting their anniversary, was an excerpt from Janetti’s soon-to-be-released book.

“When the trip ended and we said goodbye, we could not text. I could not scroll through photos on my phone. I had to go home and get my film developed at Rite Aid like an animal. And there, back in LA, shuffling through the pictures of that week, I knew,” the former Family Guy and Will & Grace television writer wrote.

In the carousel were photos of a much younger Goreski, 46, and Janetti smiling together at the beach, at the pool, at dinner and out exploring. Their location was tagged as Mykonos, Greece.

“From We Are Experiencing A Slight Delay out July 9 available at link in bio,” Janetti’s caption continued. “Btw Happy 23rd anniversary, Brad.”

The Canada's Drag Race judge left his spouse a message in the comments, affectionately joking about Janetti’s caption.

“I’m fine with you plugging your new book on our 23rd anniversary since it’s dedicated to me,” Goreski wrote.

Over on his Instagram Stories, the celebrity fashion stylist and television personality reposted Janetti’s message, and added one of his own.

“I've officially been with @garyjanetti for half my life! Happy 23rd Anniversary! Thank you for dedicating your new book to me and writing so lovingly about us and how we met! You guys will love it,” Goreski wrote in text under the repost, adding a link to pre-order the upcoming read.

Both shared content from their wedding anniversary vacation on their Instagram Stories. The trip included a day of swimming in open water with pool noodles and a romantic sunset dinner, taking in the views of Portofino, Italy.

In one video, they had drinks while wishing each other a “happy anniversary.”

“Twenty-three years,” Janetti said before pausing to give Goreski a kiss on the lips. “He’s 46, and we’ve been together 23 years. Half his life,” he added with a smile.

Goreski and Janetti tied the knot in an intimate ceremony aboard Seabourn Sojourn, a luxury cruise ship, in December 2017. Their wedding was officiated by the vessel’s captain after setting sail in the Caribbean.

“Having our families celebrate with us in such a beautiful surrounding was everything we wanted it to be," Goreski told PEOPLE in 2017.
