Bride asks guests to wear their own wedding dresses to her wedding

Wearing a white dress to someone else’s wedding is usually a major fashion faux pas, but actress Audrey Moore decided it was high time we switch up the rules.

In fact, the actress told her guests to wear their own wedding dresses to her ceremony on December 30, 2018.

Yep, Audrey and her writer hubbie Jeese Lumen tied the knot surrounded by other women wearing their most special gowns.

“I’ve been to all of their weddings and I saw them all in their beautiful dresses,” Audrey explained BuzzFeed. “I wanted them to have the opportunity to wear their really magical, beautiful dress a second time.”

Singletons weren’t left out of the fun either as they were allowed to borrow a wedding dress from a friend, or rock up in their prom dresses.

“I’m the last one to be married in my group of friends,” the actress told the BBC. “A lot of them told me they were sad they had never worn their dress again.”

The couple shared the professional pictures from the day on Reddit and, as you can imagine, it instantly went viral as people lost their minds over the dress idea – and the fact the groomsmen wore matching tuxedo hoodies.

And Audrey – who actually wore a blue dress on her big day – insists having all her gals in their dresses made her day even more special.

“It was like watching a group of princesses come to life,” she told BuzzFeed.

“[My female guests] were all very concerned about upstaging me,” she wrote on Reddit. “I knew I was wearing blue but kept it a secret from everyone except my dressmaker, and my hair and makeup artist.

“I’d been to almost all their weddings and knew they’d be in white. Plus I’m 5’10”. In heels, I was 6’1″. I told them, ‘I dare you to upstage me.’”
