‘Bridgerton’ Casting Director Flooded With Unsolicted Sex Tapes
Sex sells, as the advertising and marketing adage suggests. But unfortunately for a whole bunch of acting aspirants, TV’s bodice-ripping Bridgerton ain’t buying.
The show’s casting director, Kelly Valentine Hendry, revealed on the podcast Should I Delete That? that she is inundated with unsolicited sexual recordings.

“I get the most unbelievable videos, unsolicited,” she said. “It’s sex, basically. Not actual sex, but it’s quite punchy the stuff that comes through to me. Not nudie pictures, but not far off. It’s sad, really.”
It’s not just a few, either. Hendry claimed her inbox reaches almost 90% capacity each day from the stream of sex auditions.
The show is not shy about sex when it comes to its own cast. Season 3 follows Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) bedding Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), preceded by similar couplings in the first two seasons.
