We Finally Know When ‘The Great British Baking Show’ Is Returning To Netflix
While rumors have been circulating for months over the season 14 premiere of Great British Bake Off, Channel 4 has officially announced its UK return for Tuesday, September 26 at 8 p.m.
"Bake a date in your diaries," the official GBBO Twitter account wrote on Wednesday. "Join Paul, Prue, Noel and Alison on Tuesday 26th September for the return of The Great British Bake Off."
However, here's the thing US fans might remember: because the hit series airs in the UK first, American fans will have to wait a few extra days to watch the baking competition.

Netflix just officially announced the US premiere date of The Great British Baking Show (as it's called here), and it's September 29 at midnight PST. New episodes have historically aired in the UK on Tuesdays and made their way to American viewers on Friday, and Netflix is following that pattern this year.
It's safe to say that US and UK viewers alike are over the moon about the premiere.
"I can't wait!!! On your mark, get set, BAKE!! Yeee," one user wrote in response to Channel 4's new season announcement. "I am so ridiculously excited about this! We in the US have to wait a few more days for it to show up on Netflix though," another added. "Those days are always torture and I have to try really hard to avoid spoilers."
A third person chimed in on Hammond's new role. "Omg Noel and Allison are going to be a great pair," they wrote.
ICYMI, British television personality Alison Hammond is set to replace former co-host Matt Lucas, who stepped down after last season. Hammond will join Noel Fielding, along with judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
"Well, do you know what? I'm absolutely thrilled. I'm gonna be meeting the bakers very soon. I'm joining the Great British Bake Off," Hammond wrote on social media after the news went public. "I'm so very excited. All my colleagues are absolutely speechless."
