Do Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll actually have hall passes in their marriage?

After the country star's wife shared a TikTok video of herself referring to musician Chris "Motionless" Cerulli of the band Motionless in White as her "hall pass" last month, she took to the social media platform once again to clarify that her comments were largely a "joke."

"Good morning guys. So, I am humbly coming to the internet to clear up a few things really quick, because I was having my morning coconut water, and yeah, I got sent a bunch of these," said Bunnie, 44, in a new video, displaying screenshots of several articles written about her initial post.

"I had no idea that everybody on the internet was so invested on where I wanna slap my cookie, but this has gone a little too far," the Dumb Blonde podcast host added with a laugh.

"It’s a joke, but it’s not. I love Motionless in White. I think Chris is adorable, but, I mean, that’s it. It’s just an inside thing where my husband says he loves Taylor Swift, I say I love Chris 'Motionless,'" added Bunnie. "It’s super innocent, and this has turned into something that is a media circus."

The internet personality explained she felt her words were taken more seriously than she intended. "I do a lot of things joking around, and a lot of things I say as satire — obviously. The caption says, ‘I guess you could say we’re in love now,'" she said.

"Not all my TikToks are made for news articles, so glad we cleared that up. But Chris Motionless, call me," concluded Bunnie.

Last month, Bunnie shared a video of herself meeting Cerulli at Sick New World music festival in Las Vegas, writing in text displayed on the clip, "When you finally get to meet your hall pass," and continuing in the caption, "You could say we’re in love now."

Jelly, 39, supportively wrote in the comments section, "Bout time," and Bunnie later clarified that the "Need a Favor" singer "made this happen" after some followers expressed concern with her playful feelings for another man.

Later, Bunnie posted a clip of Jelly meeting Swift and pointed out a double standard in how they were treated. "Another point I’d like to prove- when my husband met his crush Taylor Swift everyone swooned. But his wife, an outspoken blonde meets hers & omg what a wh---! We feel so bad for Jelly blah blah blah. I didn’t even hug dude lmao - I shook his hand & y’all kno [sic] how much I hate shaking hands," she wrote.

In April, the "Save Me" artist opened up to PEOPLE about how both blissful moments and difficulties throughout his relationship with Bunnie have ultimately made them a stronger couple.

"It ain't always been Hallmark cards and Care Bears, and we had to really put in a lot of work to be together, and it was worth it. It was worth every second. It was worth every disagreement. It was worth every split. All roads pointed back to the North Star that was all love," said Jelly. "We're in the easy phase now."
