Chrissy Teigen has never been one to pipe down when it comes to expressing her opinions, as a quick scroll through her social media channels will attest.
While she takes on everything from international policies to the leader of the United States on Twitter, her Instagram page was tied up in a far more personal controversy this week, namely her boobs.
That is, her unrestrained, unshackled boobs which dared to peek out of a plunging jumpsuit in public, with nary a bra strap or supportive underwire in sight.
Much to the horror of several fans.
Thankfully she responded with an epic clapback, that no one saw coming.
In response to the trolling, she uploaded a video of those same boobs almost breaking out of the same jumpsuit, both confirming, and dismissing the fears of the bra brigade in the process.
The video has exploded, racking up over five million likes, whereas the snap that started the controversy generated around 600k.
Chrissy Teigen hit with nasty bra comments
The whole thing kicked off after Chrissy asked fans to guess what she was wearing in the afore mentioned photo.
Predictably, some couldn’t help but offer an answer with a healthy dose of judgement and body shaming.
“A bra, girl get you one!” was one of the first comments out of the gate.
“A bra,” someone else agreed.
One took it a step further, suggesting the model was looking for a bra ‘you desperately need’.
Chrissy wasted no time shutting down the comments with a sarcastic take down.
“Allow me to save you from my titties,” she replied.
Others backed up the braless crusader.
“Y’all are just jealous that you don’t have the confidence to do it too because we all know bras are the worst thing in existence,” one woman clapped back.
“I love the fact that you are not wearing a bra!” another wrote.
“She breastfed two kids and her boobies look bomb AF so why not wear what she wears,” another reminded us all.
“Chrissy you’re THE ROLE MODEL for being as unbothered by these comments as you are.”
