Christine Quinn’s Husband Christian Richard Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge After Allegedly Throwing ‘Deadly Weapon’
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that the suspected incident occurred on March 19 and involved a "bag containing a glass bottle"
Christine Quinn’s husband Christian Richard was arrested in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident involving their son on Tuesday, PEOPLE can confirm.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Hollywood officers responded to a residence around 2 p.m. local time on March 19 for a domestic issue.
“Victim and suspect were involved in a domestic dispute,” the LAPD public information officer confirmed. “The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim, but the object hit the victim’s child causing injury,” the officer alleged.
Their son was treated by paramedics and Richard was charged with assault with a "deadly weapon."
A representative for Quinn has not yet responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Quinn and Richard have been married since December 2019 and welcomed their first child together, a son named Christian Georges Dumontet, in May 2021.
While snippets of the couple’s relationship have been documented on the Netflix real estate drama Selling Sunset — in which Quinn was a series regular until season 5 — not much is known about the reality star’s husband.
When he did appear alongside Quinn on the show, he didn’t use his real last name, Dumontet, and instead went by Richard for “privacy reasons,” according to Netflix.
In May 2022, Quinn revealed to PEOPLE that she and her husband had teamed up to launch their new crypto real estate venture, RealOpen, after leaving the docusoap.

Quinn met the New Jersey native after filming season 1 of Selling Sunset when the pair was set up by one of Quinn’s friends.
During the couple’s engagement party featured on season 2 of the reality show, Richard opened up about their first time meeting.

"I absolutely fell head over heels in love," he said. "We hit it off in the car. We were literally in the car and we had an instant banter, which is really special. You don't get that too often."
