Dakota Johnson is a gothic bride in black naked dress and veil

Dakota Johnson has been on our minds recently - and for good reason. The actress, who found fame in the racy af Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, has been promoting the forthcoming, female-led superhero film Madame Web (which also stars Cosmo fave Sydney Sweeney) and rocking an array of iconic outfits.

This includes a plunging jumpsuit worn on Saturday Night Live and a bodysuit paired with nothing but sheer tights for the SNL promo pics. Her off-duty looks have been a sight to behold, too. These have included a head-to-toe black look for a girls' night with Sophie Turner, an iconic silver crystal dress and jacket to spread some festive cheer, and a cute autumnal 'fit to twin with Gwyneth Paltrow.

But her latest look has to be her best yet. At the Vogue Brazil Ball in Rio de Janeiro, the actress stepped out in a black, see-through dress by hyper-glam party-wear label Annie's Ibiza.

Featuring super thin straps, a scoop neckline and a floor-grazing hem, the dress was brought to life by delicate beads and crystals sewn onto the garment to create a spiderweb effect.

In terms of accessories, the outfit was topped off with a matching sheer black veil that was also covered in cobweb-style crystal details.

The garment seems to be a not-so-subtle reference to Dakota's role in Madame Web, where she plays the telepathic Cassandra Webb - a paramedic who can see into the "spider world" with her supernatural abilities.

Yep, it's Dakota's world, we're just living in it!
