Dancing With The Stars unveils first look at 2022 All Stars season
Channel Seven has shared a brand new preview for next year’s season of Dancing With The Stars: All Stars, promising the “highest quality of dancers” in the show’s history.
The trailer features a number of previous winners, finalists and fan favourites from the past 17 seasons who are heading back to the dance floor for another chance to win the prestigious mirror ball trophy.
The former champions competing for the second time include TV personality Grant Denyer from Season 4 in 2006, actress Bridie Carter from Season 7 in 2007, and ex-AFL players Anthony Koutoufides from Season 5 in 2006 and David Rodan from Season 14 in 2014.
Other returning celebrities include singer Ricki-Lee Coulter, actor Rob Mills, The Morning Show co-host Kylie Gillies, reality TV star Angie Kent, entertainer Courtney Act and actress Olympia Valance.

Entering this season as wildcard competitors are Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac, model and TV presenter Kris Smith, musician Deni Hines and actor Cameron Daddo.
Meanwhile, Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger will return as the show’s hosts alongside judges Todd McKenney, Helen Richey, Paul Mercurio and Mark Wilson.
The new teaser for the reality show features footage of the contestants during their intensive studio training, including Courtney Act being flipped by their dance partner and subsequently falling onto the ground.
Ricki-Lee is also filmed expressing her fears about “hanging from the roof” of the main stage, followed by Kylie Gillies attempting a complicated lift with her dance partner.
Backstage ahead of their first show, Grant Denyer remarks that he doesn’t know if he’s ready, while Rob Mills says that “everyone’s been incredible”.
After a montage of epic performances from the show’s upcoming premiere, judge Todd McKenny declares that this season will showcase “the highest quality of dancers we have had on any series”.
Seven Network Programming Director, Angus Ross, said in a statement: “The first season of All Stars was the perfect mix of entertainment, celebrity and fierce competition, proving a stand-out hit with Australian audiences.
“We have a fantastic cast ready to hit the dance floor for season two. With a history of multiple perfect scores in the ranks, it’s going to be a brilliant series.”
Dancing With The Stars: All Stars returns in 2022 to Channel 7 and 7plus.
