Daniel Radcliffe wins his first Tony as Best Featured Actor in a Musical for “Merrily We Roll Along”
"This has been one of the best experiences of my life," the "Harry Potter" alum said.
After recently garnering his first Emmy nomination, Daniel Radcliffe just picked up his first Tony Award at tonight's ceremony.
The casually ripped 34-year-old Harry Potter actor has continued charting a rewarding career after the initial stardom of the global phenomenon with his latest Broadway role.

Radcliffe took home the Best Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical Tony for Merrily We Roll Along, a revival of the 1981 Stephen Sondheim musical about 20 years in the life of three ambitious friends. Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, who were also nominated tonight, complete the triad.
"Okay, I'm going to talk fast and try not to cry," a visibly overwhelmed Radcliffe began his speech. He went on to thank the producers of the show, Sondheim and George Furth for writing the musical, the cast, he crew, and his director, calling it "one of the best experiences of my life."

Directing his attention to his costars, who were also getting choked up watching him from the audience, Radcliffe added, "Jonathan, Lindsay, I will miss you so much. I don't really have to act in this show, I just have to look at you and feel everything I have to feel. I will never have it this good again. Thank you."
The Weird: The Al Yankovic Story star also thanked his agent who had been with him "literally my entire life. That's not a joke." But Radcliffe reserved final praise for two people who've known him just as long, his parents.
"My mom and dad are here somewhere," he said. "I love you both so much. Thank you for playing Sondheim in the car and, you know...loving me."
