From one sports legend to another!

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on May 8, soccer star David Beckham shared his sweet but surprising reaction to Tom Brady's Netflix roast.

Beckham, 49, confirmed he watched The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady on May 5, and said, "The whole concept is quite funny. It was very funny."

The Beckham star went on to say he knows Brady, 46, "well" and revealed that he checked in with the former quarterback to see how he was feeling after taking hits about his personal life from the roasters, including host Kevin HartJulian EdelmanRob GronkowskiNikki Glaser, Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss and Kim Kardashian.

“But I know Tom well, and I must admit, I did fire him a message just to check if he was OK," Beckham told Kimmel, 56.

When the late-night host asked how Brady was doing post-roast, Beckham said, "He's more than OK, but yeah, it was hard to watch."

Then, Beckham squashed the idea of being the subject of his own roast. When Kimmel asked if he'd be up for it, Beckham said, "No, definitely not."

The most personal jokes about the NFL star's life during Brady's roast came from Hart, 44, who first mocked Brady for choosing to "unretire" and play one final, unsuccessful season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before going for jokes on Brady's divorce from Gisele Bündchen.

"Gisele gave you an ultimatum," Hart started. "She said you have to retire or you're done. But when you have a chance to go 8-9 you gotta do it."

He also made fun of Brady over Bündchen's new boyfriend, her karate coach Joaquim Valente. "You know who also f---ed their coach? Gisele, she f---ed her karate coach," Hart said. "Tom, how did you not see this coming? Eight karate classes a day?"

A few minutes later, Glaser, 39, continued going after Brady for his divorce. "You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back," she said.

Also in his interview with Kimmel, Beckham was asked if he ever offers advice on mega-fame to NFL star Travis Kelce. "I think he can handle it," Beckham said of Kelce, 34, adding, "We know Taylor can definitely handle it."

Kelce, meanwhile, also shared his review of Brady's roast during the April 8 episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

“Man, that is, yeah, that was unbelievable. First off, everybody involved. Hats off. I've been in tears the whole like, last, like day just watching the clips and everything,” he said.

The Kansas City Chiefs star added, “I commend everybody because nobody seemed to get like, their feelings hurt. It was kind of, it just looked like everybody was having fun with it. Yeah. But at the same time, man, that s--- had me rolling because of how at everybody's neck people were going.”
