DAVID BOREANAZ CALLS HIS EXTRA-MARITAL AFFAIR A "BONDING EXPERIENCE"

Speaking to the US magazine TV Week, David said: "In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive.

"There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you."

Excuse me, but does that sound to anyone else something a little like his tortured bad vampire/good vampire character Angel, from TV-show 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' (and later his own spin-off show, 'Angel')?

David went on to say that his affair was "a bonding experience, in the long run."

Riiiiight. Tell that to Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren. Rachel Uchitel was one of Tiger's mistresses that was out-ed late 2009. Sure, Tiger had more than one lady on the side, but it certainly didn't prove to be a long-term bonding experience for him and then-wife Elin.

David admitted in May last year to cheating on his then-pregnant wife, Jamie Bergman. At the time he hoped to eventually reconcile with his wife.

"We're working on repairing what has been damaged so badly," David said.

For the record, David is a lover AND a fighter.

"Do I believe in giving up? No, I don't. I'm a fighter. I'm a lover."

Word.
