David Tutera and Husband Joey Toth Welcome Daughter Gracie Stella: 'Love Always Wins'
David Tutera and Joey Toth are the proud parents of a second baby girl.
Sharing an exclusive pair of photos of their new addition, the couple tell PEOPLE that Gracie Stella Toth-Tutera arrived via surrogate on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 24, in California.
Joining 5½-year-old big sister Cielo, baby Gracie was born weighing 9 lbs., 8 oz., and measured 20 inches in length. Her middle moniker was chosen in honor of Toth’s Polish grandmother “whom he loved dearly,” as well as Toth’s mother, according to a rep.
“Love always wins and it is with loving pride that we share the birth of our beautiful daughter Gracie,” the celebrity event planner and Toth tell PEOPLE exclusively. “We so look forward to watching our girls grow up together and make positive change in this world.”

Toth and Tutera, 52, tied the knot in April 2017 in front of 280 guests during an extravagant ceremony at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Los Angeles. They were the first same-sex couple to wed inside the historic Hollywood landmark.
Surrounded by a plethora of massive wrought-iron candelabras with a sea of candles, the duo kept things traditional. Toth was escorted halfway down the aisle by his mom and dad, before Tutera and Cielo walked down the aisle to meet him.
“Our whole service is really dramatic and very important,” Tutera told PEOPLE at the time. “It’s based on equality, peace and love in this world. We’re doing a lot of things slightly on the activism side and certainly on the importance of love and equality.”

Cielo (who has a twin brother, Cedric, from Tutera’s previous marriage to Ryan Jurica) also benefited from Tutera’s party-planning expertise, with a butterfly-princess-themed birthday bash this past summer held at the family’s Malibu Canyon estate.
The event’s lucky 60-plus guests had a magical day filled with butterfly wings, temporary tattoos and bubbles. They also enjoyed watercolor painting, outdoor games like over-sized Jenga and creative entertainment from water ballerinas, plus singer Rhapsody, who performed songs from Cielo’s favorite movie The Greatest Showman.
Sharing photos from the magical fête exclusively with PEOPLE, Tutera said his daughter was “part of the planning process from the very beginning.”
“She comes up with a theme and then Joey and I figure out how to execute it,” he added of their yearly ritual.
