Dean Cain Reunites with Beverly Hills, 90210 Costars James Eckhouse and Carol Potter

Beverly Hills, 90210 is making a major comeback.

Dean Cain, who guest-starred on the iconic ’90s show, ran into two of his former costars and couldn’t resist the chance to post an epic reunion shot to social media.

In a photo he tweeted Wednesday, Cain smiles alongside James Eckhouse and Carol Potter, who played Jim and Cindy Walsh on the show.

“So great to see my (almost) parents in-law from my 90210 days!!” he captioned the shot.

Cain appeared in four episodes as college student Rick, who fell for Shannon Doherty’s character Brenda Walsh in Paris.

And while Cain’s time on Beverly Hills, 90210 was short, a handful of the original characters are reuniting for an untraditional reboot of the series.

Tori Spelling confirmed the news earlier this month, saying, “We’re doing a new 90210.”

She explained that the reboot “is the OG crew back together and we’re playing heightened versions of ourselves. The fans will be pleasantly surprised, though, because we will intercut that with scenes from the show. So it’ll be a whole ensemble cast playing a heightened version of themselves. Almost everybody.”

As for Doherty, the cast “would love to have her on,” said Spelling, though there “is no status right now. But if she’s watching, we would love to have you do it.”

The CW famously rebooted it in 2008 under the title 90210, with Spelling, Garth and Doherty reprising their roles at various points throughout the show. It ran for five seasons until 2013.
