'Disturbed' boomer's angry note to loud neighbours goes viral

An angry 'boomer' has left a sarcastic note for his neighbour after being kept up all night by a raging house party in Perth.

The note was neatly printed and is written from the point of view of the loud neighbour.

Satirical commentators The Bell Tower Times shared the photo on Facebook, writing, "Kids disturbed the wrong printer owner. Seems an aggrieved neighbour has letter dropped this document after a party. Impressive levels of neighbourhood pettiness."

The note reads: "Did I keep you up until 3am with my party? (This is not an apology)."

It continued, "I'm not going to apologise for another party... while my parents are away.

"I'm not going to apologise for playing club music for 8 hours straight so you couldn't get to sleep.

"I'm not going to apologise for keeping you awake until 3am in the morning."

The note went on, saying they also wouldn't apologise for telling the neighbour to "f*ck off" after politely asking for the music to be turned off at midnight.

It goes on to say that they know it's not the first party where they've played loud music in their parent's backyard until well into the night.

It then suggests the neighbour makes a noise complaint with the police, who showed up too late the night before "unfortunately".

"It's no surprise it's not the first noise complaint the Police have received about our house."

It then says people should feel free to email their dad and let him know that they were kept awake until 3am and is signed off as, "Your inconsiderate neighbours."

The post quickly racked up hundreds of commenters with one clearing up any confusion, "I think a lot of people are confused with the narrative context of this letter.... The neighbours wrote it, not the kid."

However, another said it could have been the people having the party trolling their neighbours, "Be unsurprised of this was a letter from the people having the party. I feel [a lot] of people seem to [underestimate] the level of trolling people have."

Someone else joked, "Lol no sleep make boomer something something."

One user had a solution, "Fuse box, shuts them up quickly and leaves them wondering for hours, and confuses them more when you place said fuse in their letterbox."

"As someone with constantly noisy neighbours at absurd hours of the morning, I approve this message!!!!! Have parties, make noise, stay up late and have fun, go nuts... But after a certain time of night, don’t be a d**khead about it!!! You can still have fun without rattling your neighbours windows with your 'big d**k' [bass] at 4am..." another said.

Some were surprised to see the comments mostly sided with the 'boomer'.

"Remember when comment sections didn't side with boomers?" one user said.

Many comments suggested the angry neighbour could play their own loud music early in the morning, or use loud machinery.
