Doctor Who star Bradley Walsh discusses Graham's series 12 arc

Doctor Who star Bradley Walsh has offered a couple of fresh teases about the new series of the show, including what his character Graham will be up to.

The BBC show launches its 12th series on New Year's Day, with Walsh back alongside Jodie Whittaker, Tosin Cole, and Mandip Gill.

Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning, the actor shared a little about Graham's arc.

"Last year, it was because he had lost his wife Grace," he said. "This year, it's more of a journey with his step-grandson Ryan, played by Tosin Cole who's brilliant, and the wonderful Mandip Gill [who plays Yasmin]."

Walsh added: "There are a couple of new monsters which... [they're] seriously scary. They're like, 'Whoa, that's pretty freaky', do you know what I mean?

"The great Jodie Whittaker, she's fantastic... Of course, we've got Stephen Fry in the show, who's just tremendous, and Lenny Henry's in it as well."

Guest stars for the new series also include Anjli Mohindra and Laura Fraser, as well as Robert Glenister (playing Thomas Edison) and Goran Višnjić (Nikola Tesla).
