Dunkin' Customer Goes Viral After Revealing Their Drinks Have As Much Sugar As 14 Donuts

A new viral video on X (formerly Twitter) has us wondering if we need to switch to black coffee on our next Dunkin' run. In the video, which was shared by @davidbelle_, the amount of calories, sugar, and carbohydrates in a Pumpkin Swirl Frozen Coffee are discussed. And the numbers are staggering to say the least.

"My friends, this is a Pumpkin Swirl Frozen Coffee. Who the f**k thought it was a good idea to put this on the menu because this drink has 185 grams of sugar in it...It's 46 teaspoons of sugar," he revealed. "To give you another perspective. The amount of sugar in there is equal to 14 glazed donuts. Plus, there's no pumpkin in here. It's artificial flavors...There's 930 calories and 194 carbs."

"If America runs on this, we're f**ked," he added

The comments made in response to the shocking video are filled with a mix of sarcasm and optimism.

"American coffee is just socially acceptable milkshakes for adults," said one user.

"Doughnuts aren’t that bad for you is my main takeaway from this," another person added.

The viral video surfaced just as Dunkin' unveiled their new Ice Spice Munchkins Drink, a collaboration with rapper Ice Spice. And if you think the Pumpkin Swirl Frozen Coffee was a doozy, wait 'til you hear about the calorie count for the Ice Spice Munchkins Drink. A separate post on X included an image of the nutritional facts for the drink, which is made using actual Munchkins donuts, and there are 1,080 calories in a large.

As a quick reminder, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) states that "2,000 calories a day is used as a general guide for nutrition advice." This number can be higher or lower depending on your age, sex, height, weight, and physical activity level, according to the FDA.

If you're doing the math that means two large Ice Spice Munchkins Drinks gets you well above that 2,000 calories. Yikes!
