Ella Beatty just made her Broadway debut!
On Monday night, the 23-year old daughter of Annette Bening and Warren Beatty took the stage as River in the acclaimed Sarah Paulson-led play Appropriate.
Ella, who graduated from The Juilliard School in 2022, took over for Elle Fanning, who made her own Broadway debut in the role last year.

After opening to rave reviews in December, the Branden Jacobs-Jenkins-penned, Lila Neugebauer-directed play kicked off an additional 13-week limited engagement on Saturday.
Nearly the entire original company continued with the production, including Paulson, Corey Stoll, Michael Esper, Natalie Gold, Graham Campbell, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Lincoln Cohen and Everett Sobers.
The play follows a trio of siblings (Paulson, Stoll and Esper) who return to their father's Arkansas house after his death to handle the remains of his estate, and discover mysterious objects among the clutter.
“Suddenly, long-hidden secrets and buried resentments can’t be contained, and the family is forced to face the ghosts of their past,” per an official synopsis.

When Ella learned she’d be stepping into the role of River, she burst into tears, the actress told Vogue last month.
Ella said in her interview with Vogue that she acknowledges the advantages of coming from a family of famous performers.
“I totally acknowledge that there is an inherent privilege and exposure that comes from having well-known actors as parents,” she told the magazine. “And I really hope that I can offer something meaningful.”
Before taking the stage in Appropriate, Ella made her professional acting debut in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, which follows the real-life drama between author Truman Capote and his friends.
In the Ryan Murphy-directed series, which premiered in January, Ella plays the daughter of Capote’s lover John O'Shea — and his surrogate daughter of sorts — Kerry O’Shea.
During the premiere of the show in January, Ella told PEOPLE that as she prepared to step into the role, her father and "icon" mom told her to remember “kindness” and to “treat people with respect, work really hard and be grateful.”
Bening, 65, and Beatty, 86, share four kids, Stephen, 32, Benjamin, 29, Isabel, 27, and Ella.
