Massive 'Famous' mural appears in Melbourne

A huge depiction of Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ video has appeared on a billboard in the inner Melbourne suburb of Cremorne.

The three-story-high artwork, which appeared over the weekend on the side of a building, features Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West totally nude.

The painting is rumoured to be the work of local artist Lushsux, who previously painted the “RIP Taylor Smith“ mural a few months back.

But this nine-metre-high piece is likely to cause a bit more of a ruckus than the last T-Swizzle mural. After all, it’s located on a busy commute path near Richmond.

One thing’s for sure, we give it, oh, five hours max before it’s taken down or painted over. Better get on your pushies and check it out ASAP, Melbournites.

Back in July, a mural popped up at Melbourne’s Hosier Lane honouring the fake death of Taylor Swift.

The artwork showed a likeness of the star alongside the epitath: “In loving memory of Taylor Smith 1989-2016”.

Underneath the picture was written: “No tags please respect the dead.”

So what did someone turn around and do? They made a mural to Harambe, the gorilla who was shot dead by US zookeepers after a young boy fell into his enclosure.

Lushsux, who claimed to have painted the original piece, posted the changes to Instagram, captioned: "WHO DID THIS?!?!”

The artist told The Herald Sun that someone had Snapchatted him a still of something “crude” painted over the popstar’s mouth. So he went down to check it out.

“I went down to Hosier at around three in the morning to see if any rabid Taylor Swift fans had added to the mess,” he said. “And was greeted with a Harambe memorial instead of a Taylor Swift. Got to laugh about that I guess.”

The artist commented on Instagram that he had been contacted by the Tay-Tay's lawyers, who had apparently threatened legal action if it the work wasn’t removed. Guess he won't be owning up to this new piece!
