Fashion designer Christian Cowan has accused Khloe Kardashian of selling a dress she borrowed
Things are getting a little awkward for Khloe Kardashian, who has been accused by designer Christian Cowan of selling on a dress sample after it was sent out as a loan.
As is probably a daily occurrence for the Kardashians, Khloe was sent the dress by the brand which should have been a loan (presumably with the idea of her wearing it out or shouting out the brand on her social media pages). However, it looks like Khloe thought it was a gift, as it has since been listed on Kardashian Kloset, the Kardashian and Jenner's fashion site where they list previously worn clothing for sale
Of course, the brand saw the listing and claims to have been in contact with Khloe asking for clarification. But having apparently had no response, the designer has now called her out on social media. In a since-expired Instagram Story post, Christian wrote: "@khloekardashian why are my runway samples I loaned you being sold on your website? We emailed 3 times and had no response."
A source told Page Six that the whole thing was a misunderstanding, explaining, “The dress was gifted to her through her stylist without a mention of a loan and it was never asked to be returned.”
As of right now, the Christian Cowan dress is nowhere to be seen on Kardashian Kloset, although Khloe did tweet a link to her page featuring other items.

The 36-year-old has not responded publicly to the claims, so fingers crossed they manage to sort things out behind closed doors.
