‘FBI: International’ Casts Colin Donnell In Final 2 Episodes Of Season 3 Following Luke Kleintank’s Exit

Chicago Med alum Colin Donnell has been cast as a guest star in the final two episodes of FBI: International‘s third season, sources confirm to Deadline.

Donnell’s character is being under wraps, but his introduction to the series follows the exit of original cast member Luke Kleintank. As we exclusively reported, Kleintank’s final episode as Scott Forrester, head of the FBI fly team unit, airs May 7. Donnell will appear in the penultimate episode on May 14 and the Season 3 finale May 21. Additionally, as we exclusively previously reported, Teri Polo also will appear in the final 2 episodes.

Kleintank was tapped in July of 2021 to serve as one of the leads of FBI: International, the third series in Dick Wolf’s hit FBI drama franchise. The drama follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team that’s headquartered in Budapest.

Donnell portrayed Connor Rhodes for four seasons on Chicago Med, exiting in 2019.

CBS renewed the entire FBI franchise for additional seasons earlier this month: FBI: International for Season 4, FBI: Most Wanted for Season 6 and the mothership series for an additional three seasons through 2027.

Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Michael Katleman, Ernesto Alcalde, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski serve as executive producers of FBI: International. It is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios.

People.com was first to report Donnell’s casting.
