Gabrielle Union Posts Video of Daughter Kaavia, 5, Saying Sweet Nighttime Prayer

Gabrielle Union in 2023Gabrielle Union is sharing her daughter Kaavia James’ sweet bedtime prayer.
On April 18, the actress, 51, shared an adorable video of her and her 5-year-old before going to sleep.
“Thank you for my family and my children,” Union said before Kaavia took over with, “Dear Jesus, thank you for this day. Thank you for everything, for what you do for me.”
“I love how you are beautiful, you are so loved from everybody,” Kaavia added. “I love you so much in the whole entire world. In Jesus’ name I pay, amen.”
“Amen, that was a good one,” Union said before her daughter suggested, “Now you can pray, mommy.”

Union continued, “Please protect them and guide them and wrap them in your love.”
“In Jesus’ name, amen,” the proud mother finished as Kaavia sat on her lap to hug her.
“I’m literally so happy,” Kaavia said before her mother told her, “Yes, I love you.”

“When the guest preacher tries to lead the congregation in prayer 😂Glad she knows where her strength comes from 🙏🏾,” Union’s caption read.
In reference to Kaavia taking over the prayer at the beginning, Union added in the comment section, “Kaav was trying to stall frfr so I tried to jump in and say the prayer but her competitive self was not about to let that happen! 😂😂😂😂😂😂.”
Union shares Kaavia with her husband Dwyane Wade, 42. Wade is also the father of son Zaire, 22, and daughter Zaya, 16, who he shares with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches.
He also shares son, Xavier, 10, with Aja Metoyer and is the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris, 21.
