With a divisive shoe pairing, of course.
There’s no question that autumn is the It season (in my eyes, at least). Between the fall foliage, the pumpkin everything, and most importantly, the fashion, what’s not to love? Cooler days ahead mean new seasonal obsessions — all things cherry red, peplums 2.0, and boxy blazers. But the latest trend to make its fashionably late return for fall is Houndstooth, and Gabrielle Union is saying yes to all of it.
On Monday, the actress arrived at the Burberry Summer 2024 show during London Fashion Week in its latest covetable print. While sitting front row at the show, she donned an oversized two-toned green glen plaid trench coat with a cinched waist, dramatic sleeves, and two shoulder statement straps. Donning the Burberry check print from head to toe, the jacket then warped into a head-turning optical illusion at the hem. She paired the head-turning jacket with a divisive pair of sheer tights (also in the psychedelic pattern) and matching heeled sandals. She sported the green Houndstooth with a mini shoulder bag and skipped any major accessories, opting only for a pair of rings.
As for her glam, she opted for a dewy complexion with winged eyeliner and feathered lashes, and she styled her hair in a slicked-back ponytail with several waist-length braids.
This isn't the first time that Gabrielle has fully understood the assignment — and it definitely won't be the last. Take for instance earlier this month, when she attended Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour in Inglewood modeling the most fabulous silver look, which was ordered by Queen Bey herself. For the show, she wore only a chrome-colored thong and a matching itty-bitty bandeau bra underneath a metallic see-through chainmail hooded gown. A pair of coordinating sky-high platform heels, a shimmery, silver Valentino handbag, and silver Tiffany & Co. bangles and hoop earrings rounded out her Virgo-inspired 'fit.
