Boundary changes impact (Thrasher and Rallings analysis): Boundary changes have made this marginally a less safe Labour seat. The party won it in 2019 with 61.1 per cent of the vote, with the Tories on 25.1 per cent, and Lib Dems 8.1 per cent. Under the new boundaries it would have been 57.5 per cent Labour, 26.7 per cent Conservative and 10.8 per cent Lib Dem.
