The Golden Girls Are Back — With an All-Black Cast

You'll never guess who's playing Dorothy.

The Golden Girls are back — and they’ve embraced Zoom.

In the first episode of the Zoom Where It Happened, the beloved ‘80s sitcom is getting an update with an all-Black cast.

Betty White is sadly the only surviving member of the core cast, but we’d like to think this revival has her blessing.

Judging by an image posted to Tracee Ellis Ross’s Instagram, Ross will play the sweet and often naive Rose Nylund (White), Regina King will play smart and sarcastic Dorothy Zbornak (Bea Arthur), Sanaa Lathan will play horny Southern belle Blanche Devereaux (Rue McClanahan), and Alfre Woodard will take on the role of snarky yet endearing matriarch Sophia Petrillo (Estelle Getty).
