A New Jersey couple got a very special surprise at their wedding.

On Friday, May 3, newlyweds Claudia and Jason were having pictures taken outside Homesick restaurant in Asbury Park when Guy Fieri, 56, crashed their celebrations.

In multiple images shared on Instagram by wedding photographer Alli Rockafellow, Fieri — who has been in Jersey shooting Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives — could be seen approaching the surprised guests.

Among the carousel of photos, Fieri was pictured pouring his Santo Tequila into the bride's mouth while guests cheered around her. The restaurateur also posed with the bottle, holding it up for a snap.

Per local outlet nj.com, photographer Rockafellow revealed she was trying to get the group together for a picture when she heard someone from Fieri's team say “we should get a pic with this guy!”

“My back was towards him so as he ran into the picture, my bride's father, Larry Falcone, ran up [and] was the first to welcome him over into the group,” Rockafellow said, according to the outlet.

“Everyone saw him as he ran over and they were jumping up and down with excitement,” she said, adding that the TV personality signed a bottle of his tequila for the newly married couple.

Earlier in the evening, Fieri dined at Japanese restaurant Taka, also in Asbury Park. The eatery shared a photo of their visitor on Instagram, writing in the caption: "Guy Fieri dropped in tonight."

Earlier this month Fieri spoke to PEOPLE about his family life and how he and wife Lori, 52, are preparing for their youngest son, Ryder, 18, to set off for college at San Diego State University in the fall.

"There's a whole story about Lori's issues," he teased. "No, I understand. I am on the road a lot. I'm busy. I'm doing things, and her number one priority has been doing a great job of taking care of the family. And now she's feeling it."

The couple also share a son Hunter, 27, who lives near their California home but spends a lot of time on the East Coast with his fiancée Tara Bernstein.

When Ryder went off to senior prom in April, Lori shared she was feeling all the emotions. "Last one 😢 I’m not ready for him to leave the nest," she wrote on Instagram.

Guy — who spoke to PEOPLE at a Waterloo Sparkling Water event in honor of their new summer flavors — compared the situation to the Rodney Dangerfield movie Back to School. (In it, Dangerfield's character goes to college in solidarity with his son.)

"So we're just like, 'Lori is going to enroll, and go to continuing education,'" the Food Network star joked.
