Gwen Stefani's Holiday Party Dress Style Streak Is More Lit Than a Christmas Tree
With her ice-blonde hair and signature red lipstick, Gwen Stefani was already on her way to being a snow queen. And she’s fully completed the transformation with her parade of super-festive party dresses that she’s been wearing to promote her new holiday album (and upcoming hour-long holiday special) You Make It Feel Like Christmas.
The star has pulled out all the stops on her promo tour, picking dresses that range from all-out sparkly to flirty and frilly (and of course, she’s accompanied them with a series of adorable shoes). So if you need holiday party dress inspiration, look no further than Stefani’s closet.
First up: the two over-the-top dresses she wore to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and on the Today Show. For her parade appearance, she wore a fully fringed, Swarovski-crystal beaded Yousef AlJasmi mini with a sparkling headpiece, matching Jimmy Choo pumps and Sara Weinstock diamond earrings, while on the Today show, she wore a glittery, puff-sleeved Celia Kritharioti mini with ostrich feathers, a Djula diamond ring and mirrored heels.
On the more wearable end of the spectrum, the star wore an Elie Saab mini with a velvet heart on the bodice and Casadei heels to light up the Empire State Building, and attended a Target event for her album in a strong-shouldered red polka-dot dress with sheer tights and red heels.
And finally, to appear on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she went for tulle in the same red, white and black color scheme, pairing a puff-sleeve mini with Casadei boots and then changing into red over-the-knee boots to wear with a full-skirted dress.
