Hailey Bieber just put her own spin on the LBD.
On Wednesday, the model stepped out in a trendy black minidress for date night with her husband Justin. As the couple emerged from their Tesla Cybertruck to eat at Funke, one of their favourite Los Angeles spots, they actually seemed to coordinate looks—a rare occasion for the duo, who is expecting their first child together.
Tapping into the bubble-hem trend, Hailey wore a black minidress from Après Studio (similar from Reformation here). The ruched, short-sleeved number showed off the model’s growing baby bump, and finished off with a poufy skirt. She countered the silhouette’s trendiness with a pair of classic black leather loafers, accessorising with a pair of black rectangular sunglasses. Bieber shouldered a black leather Miu Miu bag, and added a pop of colour to her look by tying printed scarves around the handle of the purse.

Of course, Justin wore a typical oversized outfit—although this time, he seemed to match the formality of his wife’s look. The singer wore a pale blue short-sleeved button-up with billowing black jeans that pooled around his black leather shoes. Ignoring the summer heat in the name of fashion, he added a grey beanie to his look, finishing it off with green-rimmed sunglasses.
The couple recently returned from their pit-stop in New York City, where Hailey celebrated her newly-released Rhode blush via a pop-up store. She seemed to use the trip as an opportunity to step up her maternity style, and over the last week, traded in her tees and loafers combo for a see-through lace catsuit, draping satin minidress, and a tan bodycon dress and matching blazer.
