Here's Why Reba McEntire & Her Boyfriend Are Spending Valentine's Day At Sonic
Country music superstar Reba McEntire is having quite the month. Not only will she be performing the national anthem during at the Super Bowl this weekend, she's also collaborating with Sonic on a new Valentine's Day meal. How's that for "a single mom who works two jobs?"
Available on February 12, Reba’s Sweetheart Meal is a fun combo of sweet and savory. The perfect Valentine's Day treat, the meal includes the new Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake, a Sonic cheeseburger, and tater tots. (Funny enough, "Tater Tots" just happens to be the singer's nickname.)
The star of the meal, the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake, is made using real strawberries, chocolate flakes, and sweet, vanilla soft serve. The rich shake is then topped with chocolate whipped topping, more chocolate flakes, and a cherry.
If you're considering swapping your typical, candlelit Valentine's Day dinner for a trip to Sonic, you might just run into Reba herself! She revealed that she'll be celebrating V-Day at the fast food restaurant with her boyfriend, Rex Linn.
“We both love tots, especially at SONIC! They are our absolute favorite. We even spent our most memorable Valentine’s Day dinner at SONIC and will do the same this year. We encourage others to make special Valentine’s memories at SONIC this year too! Just like Sugar and Tater,” Reba shared in a statement.
No stranger to a good meal, Reba opened her own restaurant just last year. Located in Atoka, Oklahoma, Reba's Place specializes in homestyle Southern fare.
