Hoda Kotb is starting her week off with a little Monday motivation.

On May 6, the Today co-host, 59, posted a video on Instagram sharing an inspirational message while in the gym for her 3:30 a.m. workout before work on the morning show.

“Okay, I've been slacking on my workouts lately because there’s no time, I keep telling myself,” she explained. “But you know what? I woke up and said today, ‘Today’s the day. Today’s the day. Today’s the day!’ So we restart, okay? Let’s do it. You got it. Get up and then think, ‘Today’s the day.’”

“I wanted to hit snooze. I really did,” the mom of two said with a laugh. “Glad I didn’t. Let’s give it a go today. Go get ‘em.”

In the comments section, Kotb received tons of praise for waking up early and hitting the gym, including a message from Bethenny Frankel and her Today coworker Bobbie Thomas.

“You got this Hoda! Thank you for the inspiration..you make such a positive impact on the lives of others…thank you ❤️” one person wrote.

Another follower added, “Yep… morning workout = feeling like a million bucks for the rest of the day!!! Good job getting up and getting it done. You’ll feel the difference. 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳”

Kotb recently opened up about her peaceful morning routine, admitting that waking up a 3 a.m. helps her start her day off the right way.

In an April episode of her Making Space podcast, the Hope Is a Rainbow author said she likes having a little peace before her hectic days.

"I do 20 minutes of meditation, and I do some writing in my journal. And I do [a spirit] check. Like, 'What does my spirit need today? What does my body need today?'" she said at the time.

"Sometimes I need a manicure. Sometimes I need to walk in nature. Sometimes I need a break. Sometimes I need a hot bath," she explained. "I’ll write down whatever (I need) in that moment."
