after a six-month closure

opened its doors at sunrise

with extra safety measures in place

Visitors will have their temperature taken

and must adhere to social distancing

Daily numbers have been capped at 5,000

and tickets must be bought online

"It feels amazing. We had been waiting for a while we've been looking in the reports because it was all lockdown so we had been waiting for a while, the Taj Mahal opens up and finally it's open and we are all excited. This is our first time to be here so we are really looking forward to it."
