Irina Shayk Dazzles in Silver Gown Covered in 84,000 Swarovski Crystals at the 2024 Met Gala
The model and actress brought an extra dose of glamour to the red carpet

Irina Shayk at the 2024 Met GalaIrina Shayk turned up the sparkle at the 2024 Met Gala.
On May 6, the model and actress, 38, dazzled on the red carpet in an Old Hollywood-inspired silver slip gown that honored the theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”.
According to Vogue, the curve-hugging, corseted design was made entirely of an invisible net of Swarovski crystals — numbering 84,000 to be exact — which took six artisans more than 200 hours to meticulously hand apply.
“When I first saw the sketches, I was blown away by the level of intricacy,” Shayk told the outlet of the craftsmanship that went into her glamorous dress for fashion's biggest night.
Shayk added even more sparkle to her look with a collection of diamond bangles on both wrists, as well as a statement choker necklace.
The star’s hair was styled into a chic top bun and she opted for a simple makeup look accented by a bold lip color.

The dress code for the 2024 Met Gala is “The Garden of Time,” inspired by the J.G. Ballard story of the same name.
Shayk has a history of bringing her sexy style to the Met Gala steps. She walked the carpet alongside then-boyfriend Bradley Cooper in 2018 in a gorgeous gold gown with a plunging crystal-covered bodice and a feathery tiered skirt with a daringly high slit.
In 2019, weeks before news of her split with Cooper, the model attended the Gala with Italian supermodel Mariacarla Boscono, both dressed in custom Burberry looks.

Shayk attended the Met Gala again in 2023 wearing a stunning white gown by Yohji Yamamoto. She was spotted inside the event chatting with Cooper, with whom she shares a daughter, Lea De Seine.
At the afterparty, Shayk went super casual in a white tank top and gray sweatpants.
