Jenelle Evans has bad blood with estranged husband David Eason.

In a video posted on Instagram on April 29, the 16 and Pregnant alum, 32, lip-synced the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s 2006 hit “Picture to Burn” while gathering relics of her relationship with Eason, 35.

Responding to a TikTok comment about a sign hanging above her door reading “Mr. & Mrs,” Evans removed the placard to throw it into a bonfire alongside other tokens of her broken marriage. Some of the other tossed items included a wooden wedding board and a photo of the pair.

“Bad energy be gone! 👏🏻,” Evans captioned the fiery clip.

The former Teen Mom 2 star shares daughter Ensley Jolie, 7, with Eason, from whom she legally separated in March after six years together.

Evans publicly announced the news on TikTok, with an initial TikTok to Lady Gaga’s “Applause” saying, “Can I get some appreciation? I filed for separation.” In the caption, she added, “New Chapter Unlocked 🔒✨.”

Shortly after, she posted a follow-up explaining that she needed to file for separation before filing for divorce in North Carolina. According to the mother of three, the state requires couples to be legally separated for a year and have two separate addresses.

The strict prerequisites have prevented the couple from fully separating in the past. Evans explained that although the two previously considered separation, they never “wanted to leave” their home.

“Whenever I had the window of opportunity that I was able to file for separation and I filed something called separation by bed and board,” she continued. “If you guys see each other one time, hook up and end up back together just for a night, but then you argue and you're like, ‘Nah this isn't going good,' it doesn't matter. The clock restarts, so they're very particular here, which is crazy."

Since tying the knot, Evans and Eason have had a rocky relationship, splitting in October 2019 and reconciling in early 2020.

Eason also faced several controversies throughout their marriage. He was fired from Teen Mom 2 in 2018 following a homophobic Twitter rant, he shot and killed their family dog in 2019 after it bit then-2-year-old Ensley in the face and he was arrested for driving with a revoked license and open container in 2021.
