Jennifer Lopez responds to question about status of relationship with Ben Affleck

The actress has been promoting her new movie "Atlas" just as she faces intense rumors about her marriage.

Jennifer Lopez was quick to dismiss a question about the rumors that she and Ben Affleck's marriage is in trouble.

It happened during a Lopez appearance in Mexico to promote her new Netflix movie, Atlas, and the moment was posted on social media by Mexican entertainment news show El Gordo y La Flaca.

Her response was to lean forward and look straight at the questioner and say, "You know better than that."

The couple met on the set of their 2002 movie Gigli, which did infamously bad business, but brought them together. They were engaged by the end of the year, but they postponed their September 2003 wedding just days before it was supposed to happen, citing "excessive media attention." They split in January 2004, and fans thought that was it until the spring of 2021, when they rekindled their relationship. Lopez and Affleck were engaged again in April 2022, and, by July, the nuptials actually happened.

This time around, the two have been open about their love for one another in interviews and on social media. So it was noticed that they weren't photographed together for weeks before a joint appearance — wedding wings on — at a May 16 event for their children.

Despite that, People reported afterward that Lopez and Affleck were living in separate residences in Los Angeles, and that Affleck was living in another of their homes in the area while filming The Accountant 2.

Though the actual movie has at times been overshadowed by the real life drama, Atlas, out May 24 on Netflix, promises to be intense. Lopez plays a data analyst sent to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But things don't go as planned, and she finds herself needing to trust AI, something that isn't easy for her, in order to save humanity. In addition to Lopez, the cast includes Sterling K. Brown, Gregory James Cohan, Simu Liu, Abraham Popoola, Lana Parrilla, and Mark Strong.
