Jeremy Renner Shows Off His ‘Hawkeye’ Moves After Snow Plow Injury Recovery in Super Bowl Ad
While singing James Brown’s “I Feel Good” in his Super Bowl commercial for Silk, Jeremy Renner slices strawberries in mid-air, performs a roundhouse kick and jumps on the kitchen counter as he prepares breakfast.
“Woah, Dad,” his real-life daughter Ava says to him after he impales a Silk almond milk carton by throwing a wooden spoon into it.

“Just getting back in my routine,” Renner responds.
Renner performed his own students in the advertisement, according to CNN. This marks a significant development in his recovery process following his January 2023 accident, where he was run over by a 14,300-pound snow plow. The actor was hospitalized for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries, including eight ribs broken in 14 places, left tibia broken, left ankle, right clavicle broken, right shoulder broken and more.
He told CNN he was initially unsure whether he could perform all of the physical moves the commercial required of him. Although they had a stuntman on deck, Renner was able to pull off all the stunts the day of the shoot, which he said was a “big boost of confidence” for him after a year of intense recovery and physical therapy.
Reflecting on his near-fatal accident over a year after it occurred, Renner said, “[I’m doing] probably 90 percent of all the things I needed to be doing … I think another six months will be hopefully running [more] … I got to set goals for myself. I’ll do whatever I can … whatever it takes to get better, to get stronger.”
