Jeremy Renner Tells Jimmy Fallon Of Lessons Learned From Horrific Snowplow Accident
Jeremy Renner guested on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, the first time since the January 2023 snowplow accident that left the Hawkeye star in critical condition with 38 broken bones.
In fact, Renner had been set to appear on Tonight a year and a half ago just when the accident changed his life. Last night, Renner recalled Fallon texting him at the time, “Dude, you’re trending!”

Renner, looking recuperating and healthy, told Fallon that discussing the accident, which he has done numerous times on TV over the past year, is “pretty cathartic” and “quite healing.”
“I can go on and on about what happened for the 45 minutes of being on the ice,” Renner said, “but the real learning lessons from it — there’s so many great gifts of being tested to your limits, right? Your physical limits, your spiritual limits, emotional limits. I won’t have a bad day for the rest of my life..There’s that gift.”
As Deadline was first to report, Renner had been operating a snowcat vehicle at his Lake Tahoe property when he became trapped under the vehicles treads, leaving him with considerable blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.
