Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake move out of LA and NYC to give their kids a level of 'normalcy'

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake moved out of Los Angeles and New York City to ensure their children have "normal" lives.
The couple - who have sons Silas, nine and Phinneas, four - were in prime places for public scrutiny with their West and East Coast homes, so now they have houses in Montana and Nashville instead, which they hope will allow their boys to grow up out of the spotlight.
During an appearance on the 'Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripla' podcast, the 42-year-old actress said: "We’re just trying to create some normalcy for these kids, and we wanna share our family with our loved ones and friends."
Jessica added she and her 43-year-old husband understood their jobs had a "major public-facing element", but emphasised their sons "didn't choose" the showbiz life.
She said: "These kids didn’t choose this. I don’t wanna expose them in a way until they have an ability to make that decision for themselves."
The '7th Heaven' star explained she and the former NSYNC singer don’t want to post pictures of their kids online for their protection, but conceded the online world is "a very big part of their life".
She explained: "This very social media world is where they exist and where they live, and that will be a very big part of their life and their reality. I just don’t want it to be on my account.
"So we try to engage in a way that feels authentic, but also not blasting them all over the place – and no disrespect to anybody who feels comfortable doing that. That’s just our family choice."
Jessica then opened up about her family life, and revealed her eldest son Silias was finding growing up difficult.
She shared: "He’s experiencing growing pains. He has a hard time sleeping. He’ll be waking up in the middle of the night. His legs hurt. His back hurts.
"He went from this little guy to this kind of more grown-up kid, and even Justin and I are like, 'Wow, this kid is looking different all of a sudden.'
"He’s just growing! It’s so amazing!"
