Kate Hudson Shares Slice of Her Family Life with Fiancé Danny Fujikawa and Daughter Rani: ‘Long Weekend Joy’

Kate Hudson is soaking up the sun with her family and friends on Memorial Day weekend!

"Long weekend joy ✌️☀️🌊," the Almost Famous star captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram on Sunday, May 26.

The set of photos included an intimate look at her family life with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, and their daughter, Rani.

The 5-year-old is prominently featured in the carousel, enjoying a meal outdoors with her mom and the family dog while flashing a peace sign in one shot and taking a nap with her dad in another. Fujikawa, 37, also appeared to be at the outdoor family picnic and was pictured with Rani in a third photo.

Hudson also featured scenic shots in the Instagram set, including a black-and-white selfie in which she blew a kiss to the camera while posing near the shore at the beach. The "Glorious" singer also hugged a huge bouquet of white roses in another sweet photo.

Her sons, Ryder and Bingham "Bing" Hawn, whom she shares with exes Chris Robinson and Matthew Bellamy, respectively, don't appear in the Instagram post.

Hudson, who released her debut album on May 17, recently opened up to PEOPLE about her only daughter.

"She's the best. She's so magical," the proud mom said of Rani. "She's definitely her mother's daughter. It takes her forever to get out of the house. She's very particular about her wardrobe and her clothes and her vibe."

"She is just a total firecracker, but then she's much more emotional than I think I was when I was little. She's much more of an empath where I was like, yeah. She's just very empathetic and emotional," the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star added.
