Kate Middleton stuns at Buckingham Palace garden party
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined the Queen at the Buckingham Palace garden party on Tuesday afternoon.
Kate, 37, wore a double-breasted coat dress with pleated back detail by her go-to fashion designer Alexander McQueen with a matching hat by Juliette Botterill.
She accessorised with her classic nude accessories for the formal occasion.
William, 36, looked smart in a black morning suit with a claret tie.
The Queen, 93, donned a dove grey Stewart Parvin coat with a floral pink dress underneath and a Rachel Trevor Morgan hat.
Yesterday the Cambridges joined the monarch at the Chelsea Flower Show. Kate gave the Queen a tour of the ‘Back to Nature’ garden she co-designed with landscape architects Andree Davis and Adam White.
Before Her Majesty’s arrival, a nervous Kate was spotted picking up stray leaves and twigs from the wooden pathways and stuffing them into her designer handbag.
For the preview evening, the duchess looked stunning in an apt floral Erdem maxi dress and Castaner espadrille wedges.
It seems she’s taken inspiration from her royal relatives, as the 86-year-old Duchess of Kent was also spotted in the same frock for Meghan and Harry’s wedding last year.
