Back then, Katie's exact cashmere Khaite set sold out within hours – despite costing in the region of £2,000 (!) – while the high street was soon flooded with less-luxurious (but no less stylish) dupes.

Attending a VIP dinner earlier this week to celebrate the opening of Chanel's Watches & Fine Jewellery Fifth Avenue flagship boutique, Katie Holmes recreated her viral fashion moment but with an elegant evening twist. The actress wore a navy-blue knitted cardigan with matching trousers designed by the Parisian brand, that she wore with nothing but a black lacy bra underneath. The final touches? A classic red lip, two-tone Chanel slingback pumps, a diamond lariat necklace, and in typical laid-back Katie style, a messy plait in her hair. So chic, right?! It's giving effortless Parisienne on a night out, and we're obsessed.
Now, given we struggled to afford Katie's cardi-and-bra combo the first time around, we have a sneaking suspicion that the Chanel version is *definitely* out of budget. But fear not!
