Kim Kardashian's surrogate 'didn't know' whose baby she was carrying
Kim Kardashian is one of the most well known women in the world.
But the surrogate who is currently carrying her third baby with hubby Kanye West, didn't know she was having their baby.
Kim, 37, has revealed that the pair, who are already parents to North, four, and Saint, 23 months, went into the surrogacy process anonymously, only sharing their identity with the woman after she was successfully expecting.
“She didn't know at the beginning," Kim told The Real.
But the reality star explained that she felt she wanted whoever was carrying her baby to know.
"What if they weren't a fan of me or my husband?" she said. "And what if they didn't want to be carrying our baby?"
After telling their surrogate the famous couple were the parents, Kim said "she was really proud to do it, really excited.”
The pair announced they were expecting their third child, a girl, via surrogate two months ago with the bub due in the New Year.
Last week Kimthrew a lavish cherry blossom themed baby shower that she said her surrogate didn't attend.
“Of course, I would’ve wanted her to be there and be a part of it," she told the publication. “But I hadn’t really gone that far in explaining it to my kids yet."
Kim finished by saying she had the "best relationship" with the woman carrying her child and believes she's the "perfect person" to be helping her family.
