Kim Kardashian Models SKIMS’ Most Glam Collab Yet — a Bedazzled Collection with Swarovski

Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS is getting bejeweled!

The Kardashians star, 43, revealed on her Instagram that her brand SKIMS — which features underwear, shapewear and loungewear — is launching a more glamorous take with a new collaboration with Swarovski.

The Swarovski x SKIMS collaboration features two-piece sets, bodysuits, and mesh stretch dresses — all with their own unique twist on incorporating Swarovski jewelry. Some products feature body-jewelry chains, while others have jewels sewn right on the fabric itself.

Kardashian models the various looks from the new collection in several photos, opening the post with a nude square-neck bodysuit with a large silver choker and a body chain with matching silver bracelet cuffs. She also wears a SKIMS Swarovski top with jeweled strings crossing over her body paired with a bikini bottom with the word “SKIMS" encrusted on the top and similar horizontal jeweled strings flowing down her body like a skirt.

In another confident shot, she models a shimmery mesh long dress, which features a nude bodysuit underneath and hundreds of tiny jewels down the length of her arms and legs. She also looked like she was taking a page out of Britney Spears' style handbook with a nude bodysuit with dozens of small crystals that bears a striking resemblance to the singer's outfit in the "Toxic" music video.

The mogul called the collaboration “a first of its kind collaboration that fuses @Swarovski’s iconic glamour with @SKIMS innovative silhouettes, resulting in a unique crystallized collection,” in the caption of the post.

Swarovski shared its own post on the collaboration writing: “Two icons unite to create one glamorous collection… The elegance of @Swarovski and the innovation of @SKIMS collide in a unique crystallized collection.”

The brand also noted that the new collection was carried out under the vision of Swarovski’s creative director Giovanna Engelbert. Engelbert wrote that she had wanted to collaborate with Kardashian for a long time and that the new collection was “rooted in [the] imagination of the crystal that morphed into the skin.”

“We worked with Kim on creating body jewelry, and so much more, that can be styled so many ways and truly unlocks the glamour in all of us,” she said. “I can't wait to show the full collection very soon.”

“I feel like it really embodies who I am, in being really simplistic, but then I have this full glitzy feminine side,” Kardashian described the new line in an interview with The New York Times.

Kardashian also noted that the new pieces were meant to be worn out to events where people want to be “super fancy this season,” and added that her recent CFDA award win gave the brand “a little bit of drive to do collaborations that were more high-fashion collaborations and branch off.”  She has also had a penchant for jewels for a long time.

“If I get a tooth gem, it has to be a Swarovski crystal. I used to make, like, little hair accessories and rhinestone things, and I’d have my glue — that E6000 glue — and a toothpick and the crystal, and I’d be bedazzling everything,” she explained.

“I’d always had that idea of making outfits out of jewelry,” she added. “There’s two options I really love. I might just have to have a wardrobe change.”

The Swarovski x SKIMS collaboration launches on Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. ET at SKIMS.com and at Swarovski stores worldwide.
