Kristen Bell preparing kids to cope with death

Kristen Bell is preparing her children to cope with death.
The 'Frozen' star's daughters may be just three and five-years-old but the actress is already giving them the "tools to understand that certain things happen".
She said: "I think giving them the tools to understand that certain things happen at a young age is important. We're not morbid about it. We don't talk about death, but she asks, we tell her. We're prepared as a family.
"We have all sort of made peace with it, and we've talked to our kids about it. They know that Papa's gonna die ... As a parent, in my life, what I really want to give to my kids is the science of it and the critical thinking of it."
And the 38-year-old star - who has Delta and Lincoln with her her husband Dax Shepard - was particularly impressed with Lincoln's response.
Speaking on WTF with Marc Maron, she added: "She said, 'Do I need to bring my gardening stuff? I have a shovel. Where do we do it? The side of the house?' She was like, 'Well, one of our own is going, I guess we all participate.' Her frontal lobe was firing about how to handle this and I thought that was so wonderful for a 5-year-old."
Meanwhile, Kristen previously revealed her kids like to ask "annoying questions".
She shared: "They ask a ton of questions, and not annoying questions but questions that are leading them to sort of greater truth. Like this afternoon my husband was listening to a podcast about Watergate about how the Nixon presidency fell and my five-year-old was like, 'Why did that woman want to call the newspaper?' And he was trying to answer and he's like, 'I can't unravel why the Nixon presidency tumbled,' and [Lincoln] was like, 'Well, try.'"
