Kylie Kelce’s response to Jason ‘not asking for permission’ to go shirtless is TOP NOTCH
Even though all eyes have been on Taylor Swift at this season’s Kansas City Chiefs game, it was Jason Kelce who made headlines during Sunday’s game, thanks to his hilarious shirtless display amid the frigid temps in Buffalo. The Philadelphia Eagles center shared what his wife, Kylie Kelce, thought of his shirtless “shenanigans,” and her response is so spot-on.
On the latest episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason and brother Travis Kelce discussed the game, which Travis helped usher the Chiefs into a three-point lead over the Buffalo Bills. Jason explained that he simply got “caught up in the magic of Bills Mafia,” which is why he ditched his shirt, hopped out of the box, beer in hand, and cheered his baby brother on with the utmost enthusiasm.
Describing the “electric” atmosphere in the stadium, Jason said, “I don’t know what I was expecting, but everybody was just beyond excited to have a good time and enjoy some football.”
“I feel like taking your shirt off is a Buffalo Bills thing,” he continued. “I wanted to take everything off and be out there with the fans.”
It turns out Jason had low-key pre-planned the stunt, and Kylie was less than pleased with him over it. “I gave Kylie a heads-up. The moment we get into the suite, I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off and jumping out of that suite.’ And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’ I said, ‘I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this. I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you,” he said.
As for Kylie, she commented on an Instagram clip to share her thoughts, writing, “I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.” – the exact quote I will say when I’m grabbing the keys to go get a cat.” (LOL!)
“She was already telling me to be on my best behavior ’cause we were meeting Taylor [Swift], so she’s like, ‘Do not. Be on your best behavior.’ I was like ‘Kylie, the first day I met you I was blackout drunk and fell asleep at the bar,’” Jason admitted of his first date with his now-wife.
“This is part of the charm. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm. I wanna make my best first impression,” he added.
For the record, Travis said the pop superstar was all about the stunt. “Tay said she absolutely loved you,” he said.
