Absolutely smashing her look, the Big Little Lies actress showed up to the event in a white ruffle blouse paired with flowy black-and-yellow floral pants. She completed the ‘fit with comfy-looking sneakers and a pair of colorful shades.

Sure, ruffles are generally bound to be broken out in the warmer months, as they’re light, airy, and ethereal, but they’re actually so easy to wear all the time. Darker bottoms, like Dern’s, add some contrast to the look, and thanks to their long sleeves, can be worn in colder months, too.
