Blue singer Lee Ryan has revealed that he has become a father for the fourth time.

Ryan made the surprise announcement on his TikTok, revealing his new baby girl — his second with wife Verity Paris — to the world.

In the clip, Ryan can be seen cradling his newborn daughter and says: "Hey everyone. I just wanted to say sorry that I'm not there for the promo right now. Everything's ok. I know the boys are doing everything. I know there are a lot of people talking madness. I've actually had a little baby."

The 39-year-old pop star added: "She's only three weeks old now, so I'm at home with my family, being a dad and being with the children."

The birth had meant Ryan was recently absent from the group's promo tour with him missing an appearance on BBC Breakfast.

Ryan had his first child, daughter Bluebell, in 2007 with his ex Jessica Keevil. He became a father for a second time in 2008 with son Rayn with fiancee Samantha Miller. His first child with Verity, another daughter, was born in 2021.

The baby news comes after Ryan was recently arrested following his behaviour on a British Airways flight in August.

Ryan was allegedly arrested for public order offences after being accused of behaving in an "intimidatory" manner towards the cabin crew.

Ryan later apologised for his behaviour and said he was going to seek help for his mental health.

In a statement, he said: "A note from Lee. Over the last few days, I have had a lot of time to think about my behaviour and how it affects people around me. As it has been well documented I have always had my struggles with alcohol and often say or do silly things as a result of that, which in turn has caused problems for myself and those around me."

He added: "The time has come for me to take ownership of the root cause of these problems and for that reason I am reducing my schedule for the time being to seek professional help and spend time with my family."

Blue are set to embark on an arena tour this winter to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Atomic Kitten will be joining them as guests throughout the tour.
