Lindsay Lohan's Recent Fashion Streak Had Some Subtle Flashbacks to Her Aughts Onscreen Style
Remember 'Just My Luck'? Lohan seemingly does — and has been channeling Ashley Albright during her 'Irish Wish' press tour
It's been nearly 20 years since Lindsay Lohan became newly-hapless PR guru Ashley Albright in the rom-com Just My Luck — but some of her character's fashion sense has apparently stuck with her.
Lohan's recent press tour for her just-released Netflix flick Irish Wish has the actress, 37, revisiting some of the style keys that were intrinsic to her onscreen counterparts during the aughts. Lohan, of course, made a name for herself in teen comedies like Freaky Friday and Georgia Rule.
This month, as she hopped between daytime talk show appearances and the Irish Wish premiere, Lohan opted for crisp white pieces, stand-out jackets and fun accessories — all with an early 2000s vibe.
On March 6, Lohan — a new mom to son Luai, 8 months — smiled as she braved the N.Y.C. rain in David Koma white trousers and a white embellished top, topped off by a voluminous furry jacket from Zimmerman. The look was elevated by Lohan's oversized Y2K-like sunnies, a gold Dolce & Gabbana clutch and Type Jewelry's Tube Drip Diamond Hoop Earrings.
The next day, Lohan's shirking of the "no white before Memorial Day" rule continued. This time, she opted for white trouser pants and a drapey white top by AWAKE MODE, which was cinched at the waist (and giving 2000s-era soft ruffles). Her Magda Butrym peacoat was paired with a Hunting Season's Lizard Small Top Handle bag and oversized Otra Reina sunglasses.
The all-white looks could have been pulled from her Just My Luck character's closet. In the film, Lohan's Ashley pairs a white trench with a white top, scarf and pants — proving that Lohan has no fear of N.Y.C. winter stain risks both onscreen and in reality.
She also struck the same, cheeky pose with her sunglasses on the steps of the Plaza Hotel that she did on the poster of Just My Luck almost two decades ago.

For an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, which aired last week, Lohan's stylists Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi put her in Monse's Floral Skeleton Print Asymmetric Velvet Dress and shiny, red Santoni boots. She pulled out the Magda Butrym wool-blend coat, once again, to keep warm amid chilly temperatures, and accessorized with Walters Faith and Nina Runsdorf jewelry.
The all-white streak kicked off earlier in the month at the actual Irish Wish premiere. For that, Lohan paired a Galliano off-white, spaghetti strap floor-length gown with a Sentaler coat and Casadei shoes.
"So grateful for all of the love and support ☘️🥰," Lohan wrote on Instagram at the time alongside a slideshow of her looking glam and posing with loved ones.
Lohan recently told Bustle in a new interview that she doesn't feel any pressure to "snap back" after welcoming her son last year. "Everyone's getting so thin now. I feel like everything always comes full circle again, so this is that moment, and this, too, shall pass," she said.
"I was so attached to [Luai] that my last thought was going on a treadmill," Lohan added. "I feel like we put so much pressure on ourselves to have to look good so soon, but you look so beautiful [postpartum]. Give yourself time."
