Amid all the drama and awkwardness in the Love Island: The Christmas Reunion, fans reckon they've spotted an uncomfortable error.

During the episode last night (December 17), host Caroline Flack handed out gifts to the contestants – except Alexandra Cane didn't seem to get one.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Is it just me or did Alexandra not get a present?"

Another shared: "So out of all that, my most asked question, where was Alexandra’s present?"

"Poor Alexandra didn’t get a gift :/," shared a third.

That said, we're betting the ITV reality show didn't actually neglect to give Alexandra a present and that it was just edited out for time, so Digital Spy has reached out to ITV for comment.

Alexandra later addressed the whole lack-of-present thing on her Twitter after the show, but she mainly just took the opportunity to have another little dig at Dr Alex George after their tumultuous time together on the show.

"I did get a present," she insisted. "I got an apple. Because an apple a day..."

Elsewhere, fans are now calling for Love Island winners Dani and Jack to have their own cooking series after they struggled to cook a Christmas dinner in the special episode.

Dani and Jack will of course appear in their own spin-off, but it certainly won't be cookery-themed.

Last week, the first trailer for their new series Jack and Dani: Life After Love Island was unveiled.

The ITVBe series will begin in January, and follows the pair after leaving the villa and moving in together.

Following split rumours (of their own making), it appears Dani and Jack are actually still together.

Love Island airs on ITV2.
