'Movin' and groovin': Mariah's ex Nick Cannon on how she's coping post-Packer
Mariah Carey’s ex Nick Cannon has revealed how his former wife is going amid her split from fiance James Packer just days after her divorce from Nick was approved.
In an interview with Extra TV, the 36-year-old actor said Mariah “is keeping it moving.”
"Yeah. It's all love," Nick said. "You know how that is. I think the media comes up with all this speculation and stuff, but everybody is keeping it moving…that's what it's all about."
Nick and twins five-year-old Moroccan and Monroe celebrated Halloween at Mariah mansion on October 23, just days before her split from James went public.

Speaking about how his ex is dealing with the messy breakup: "Things are always movin' and groovin’, but as long as we are rooted in love and family, that's the most important thing," he said.
With rumours swirling around about what the root cause of the singer and the billionaire’s split was, the comedian said he doesn’t “feed off" what circulates in the media.
Sources say according to Page Six, Mariah reportedly “begged” Nick to sign the divorce papers, which were filed in December 2014, so she could marry the Australian businessman.
"Nick and Mariah's divorce was dragging on and on, mainly because of the back and forth between their lawyers," the source said.
"Mariah's team brought in [celebrity divorce lawyer] Laura Wasser, who helped simplify things, but then Mariah called Nick and said, 'I really want to get married. Will you sign these papers?'
"Nick was cool and said, 'I'm not going to stand in your way. I'll sign the papers'. He signed in September, because Mariah and James wanted to get married in early 2017."
Everything seemed to be peachy between the duo one month prior to their Greece holiday, with reports claiming James sent lovey dovey emails to the singer, saying he couldn’t “wait to get married and be together forever."
But after the pair’s tiff on their yacht in Mykonos in September, their wedding plans went down the drain.
According to Entertainment Tonight, a source said the media reports came as a shock to Mariah, as she planned the news to be released very differently.
"Mariah was actually blindsided when news broke of her split with James as her intention was always to release a joint statement and maintain an amicable relationship with her now ex," the source said.
Reports have said the split was due to James being jealous of Mariah’s close bond with her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, while other reports claimed it was James’ business manager and Scientologist friend Tommy Davis who "poisoned" the pair’s relationship.
Since Mariah and James didn’t sign a prenup, they are currently "deep in settlement negotiations" trying to divvy up their assets as if they had been married.
